Carry enough food, drinking water, essential medicines, and first aid supplies (no shops or settlements are available inside the Sundarbans).
Wear waterproof sandals or sneakers suitable for wet and muddy areas.
Bring warm clothes if you are traveling in winter.
Keep a copy of your national identity card with you.
Use a Teletalk SIM for mobile communication (other networks may not work).
Show respect to the locals, forest staff, and fellow travelers.
Always follow the instructions of your guide and security personnel.

Do not carry microphones, sound boxes, or make loud noises.
Do not bring firearms, sharp tools, traps, poisons, or any fishing/hunting equipment.
Do not disturb or frighten animals, and never harm wildlife or biodiversity.
Do not break or tear branches, vines, or leaves.
Do not feed wild animals.
Do not litter—avoid throwing garbage, plastics, or polythene into the forest or waterways.
Do not walk alone in the forest; always stay with your group.
Do not bathe or swim in rivers, canals, or the sea.
Do not wear bright-colored clothes or use perfumes, as they may attract unwanted attention from wildlife.
